Rainbow-Themes is seeking a proactive and friendly Support Engineer to join our fast-growing team. As an Envato Elite Author with over 21,500 customers worldwide, we believe that excellent customer support is as important as top-tier products.

Responsibilities:

As a support engineer, your job is to do important things that keep customers happy and make our products look good. Here’s what you’ll be doing:

  • Customer Support: Help customers quickly using tickets, chat, and forums.

  • Pre-sales Assistance: Assist people who are thinking about buying our products.

  • Troubleshooting: Fix bugs in our themes and plugins.

  • Development Collaboration: Collaborate with developers and fix technical issues fast in real-time.

  • FAQ Expert: Give easy-to-understand answers to common questions.

  • Effective Communication: Make unhappy customers happy again.

  • Conversion Focus: Get people to buy our products and say good things about them.

  • Guide: Create user-friendly documentation for integration with videos.


Requirements:

  • Good at WordPress: You know WordPress really well, and you can find your way around the Codex and core.

  • Know CSS Well: You’re really good at CSS and can handle any CSS problem easily.

  • Know PHP: You understand PHP (Mainly related to the WordPress framework).

  • React & Vue JS: You’re okay with React and Vue, but you usually don’t need to write code from scratch.

  • Chrome Tools: You can use Chrome Developer Tools to fix CSS, JavaScript, and network problems.

  • Testing Locally: You can set up and test websites on your own computer.

  • Self-motivated: You’re good at starting things yourself and learning quickly.

  • Great with Customers: You’re super nice and helpful, even with difficult customers.

  • Write Well: You’re really good at writing in English.

  • Plus Point: If you are really good at speaking English with customers!
